I did! Do you know if this is the final stage, or whether we’ll be asked to complete a written task if we were successful at interview?

I think it went well? I’m not sure though? I feel like you can never know definitively. All I know is I tried my best and I couldn’t have prepared more than I did! I’m just really confused because I asked my interviewer at the end of our call when I should expect to hear back and she said “oh, there might be a fourth stage, like a written task, but we’ll let you know.” So I’m slightly worried ahaha. Did they tell you at all when we should expect to hear back?

yeah mine said this is the last stage although he is not 100% sure. He said about first week of March for the results

Oh perfect, I’m glad we’ll at least find out soon! What other firms have you guys chosen to apply to? I’m first year non-law, so I was slightly capped because some firms only accept second year non-law. I’m hoping if Latham doesn’t work out, there’s other places I’ve applied who are willing to take me 🙏🏻

ah I am first year law so slightly more options, thankfully. I did Magic Circle + a couple of US firms like Latham and White & Case! I really hope Latham takes me hahahah out of the firms I applied to it is my personal favourite.

I feel like we’re in for a good shot! I think they take roughly 25 applicants each year (at least, from what I’ve seen on their previous social media posts,) and I know they interviewed every day this week with 5 interview slots on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday (so 15 out of those three days.) I’m not sure how many they interviewed on Monday or Tuesday, but I can only guess they didn’t get through more than 30-40 overall? Obvs that depends on how many people were conducting the interviews, but I’d say once you make it to interview stage it’s probably like a 50% chance roughly? And I’ve definitely seen worse odds ahaha

ah I see! I was interviewed this Tuesday. I think Monday and Tuesday together there are 11 slots, so 26 per interviewer? I don't know how many interviewers are there but hopefully the odds are in our favour hahaha!

Well, we know there were at least two because I was interviewed by a woman, and you were interviewed by a man. So yeah, I reckon it’s probably about a 50% success rate 🙂 I’m honestly surprised I even got the telephone interview, I thought I had flopped the video interview ahaha

did you receive a teams invite by any chance - I confirmed the slot but did not receive any email with teams invite in it

I haven't received a link either ☹️ my slot is early Monday morning, so I may email them if I'm not sent a link by mid afternoon tomorrow. I'm sooo nervous, I have no idea how to prep at all
