Flexibility as a parent student

Hi,

I am interested in doing an undergraduate course (Diagnostic Radiography). As a parent, I do have have additional responsibilities such as doing doing school runs. Is there any flexibility in doing this with the course's timetable? I do want to get an idea on what the timetable will look like.

Thank you.

Hey, :wavey:

That is great news that you want to study Diagnostic Radiography with us!

Regarding flexibility with the course, it is important to note that this course is full time.

However, sometimes there is flexibility but this really depends on the timetable.

The timetables do not get released until a few weeks before the start date.

Sometimes, lectures and seminars start at 9 and will finish before 3 however, this is not guaranteed and some days will be longer.

It is also important to know that diagnostic radiography have placements. This is where for certain blocks of your three year degree you will be out on placements in hospitals etc. This is full time and you will be assigned to 12 hours shifts and potential night shifts.

The university understands that some students have additional responsibilities and will support where possible.

If you have any specific questions please contact our admissions department: [email protected]

Thank you, hope this helps
