The Student Room Group

Bristol or QMUL

Hey, I’ve received two offers for a law degree from UoB and QMUL, but I’m unsure which one to choose as my firm choice. I had initially planned to study in London, but from what I’ve seen, Bristol seems like a student-friendly city with a great atmosphere. It’s also more affordable in almost every aspect. However, I’m unsure which university has a stronger reputation for law, especially since I want to pursue commercial law at a Magic Circle firm (for now). Which one offers the best career prospects?

London then easier for transport etc
As an international student you would settle in London more easily. Once settled in, Bristol won't differ too much from London if study is your top priority.

Don't take ranking or prestige too seriously. If finance is not a constraint, I suggest you look into the course modules in detail, for the whole 3 years and find out which one you like more.
