Tips With Past Papers?

so ive got my mocks on tuesday ( inset day monday ) my revision has gone really well this whole week i want to start past papers because i know they’re the main resource for revision i jusr can bring myself to do one in timed conditions or i get worried ill get most of the answers wrong as my goal is to get high grades

Then do one not under timed conditions to begin with, just to get a sense for the depth of knowledge they're looking for. Make a note of how long it took you, so you know how must faster you need to work.

The most useful thing about doing a past paper is the mark scheme. Not just because it tells you whether you were right or not, but because it shows you - for a multi-mark question - what they want to see to gain each individual mark. In science subjects, for example, they can be quite fussy about terminology / language.

The examiners reports can be useful too. They'll say things like, "Although most students answered this well, a surprising number don't know the difference between X and Y". This might prompt you to try to review that difference for yourself. :smile:
