Distance A levels providers

Hello ☺️
I am looking in to distance a levels, can anyone recommend good providers please?

The National Extension College are well established and good, but I believe you have to pay for exams separately. That can get expensive, especially if you have to do practical parts, like in science.

Have you thought about doing an Access course?

Okay great I'll check them out. I have thought about an access course but as I'd like to do dental hygiene/hygiene and therapy, I thought it might be best to do A levels as some unis may not accept access courses?

Hello,

My name is Laura and I am a Course Advisor at the National Extension College.

We offer a wide range of A Levels and have an exams service to support our students with booking exams at one of our partnership exam centres. The previous post is correct, the exam fees are an additional fee, however, we can offer payment plans if you book these far enough in advance or you can look to book your exams as a Private Candidate at a local school or college if you do not wish to use one of our exam centres or wish to explore costs.

Please get in touch with us on [email protected] or call us on 0800 389 2839 and we would be happy to provide you with some resources to decide if our courses would be suitable for what you are looking for.

We hope to hear from you soon!
Laura

Do you know if we can spread the A-levels over two years or does it need all to be within 12 months?

Hello,

You can spread them out as long as you wish to. With the NEC students get 24 months access to the course but students can work through as quickly or as slowly as they wish to. Some students plan to sit their exams within 1 year but others take the full 2 years.

NEC also offer flexible course extensions, so if a student needed longer than 24 months, they can pay a small fee to extend their course.

Kind regards,
Laura
