Past university enrollment data

I started a healthcare course years ago and didnt complete due to some external challenges. I'm now set to start afresh at a new uni.
In my interview they asked if had been enrolled on the course before I had to say no, as i didnt want to enter a convo about my challenges etc.

Is there anyway the new uni can find out?

You are required to give a full educational history on your UCAS application form. If you have not done this your application is technically fraudulent and unis can withdraw offers if it comes out.

Hi, Thanks for answering! Nice to know I've got a aplications advisor so I very much trust your judgement. Some questions:

-I was not aware my UCAS form needed everything, and at this stage it's too late to change. I've had my interview and been given an unconditional offer.

-Is there anyway the new uni could find out if I don't tell them? Surely its my private data.

-I'm also uncertain whether I can even speak to them about it as the old uni made me sign an NDA and paid me hush money.

You have two options:

- inform your offer uni of the omission before the course starts. Dropping out of uni is common so is not usually an issue. If you were expelled, you will probably be asked the reasons why.

- don't inform the uni but run the risk of being found out from your previous UCAS record or another source.
