French AQA: Listening

So yeah, I really struggle with listening for French. I am doing practice papers to improve but is there anything else someone could please suggest?

Thank you!:woo:

ActiveLearn for vocab learning and practice tasks
Quizlet listen mode (if that’s still a thing 🤞)
Watching shows in french or listening to french music (even if its just translations of American or British music you know) so that you get used to the language
Going through the past papers properly and making sure youre figuring out what the question is asking and what you should listen out for for each bit (the tense for example as they use that to focus people or what pronoun is being used when multiple people are discussed). You could make a list of vocab from each paper that you didn’t know before and then make flashcards

I find Marvely great for practicing the speaking part of the exam, but it may also help with general listening too. They have some free French AQA scenarios you can try: https://www.marvely.ai/start?language=fr .

I believe the scenarios are taken directly from past AQA papers!
