Need GCSE advice

please give advice on how to improve my GCSE's. I need to get only 4's in my GCSE to get into my college but I feel I'm definitely going to be dissapointed and so will my family. I havent studied science for the past 3 years, so my teacher thought it would be better for me to move down to foundation starting from these mocks. I've been cramming all the math revision I can and i'm honestly proud of my self as i'm going to do sm better in my mocks next week.

Hi, I'm y11 too. Trust me, the only gcses that REALLY matter and I mean really matter, are maths and english. If you don't pass these then it will severely hinder your chances of getting a good job, and you don't want to retake them. So if I were you I'd put a lot of time into them before working on your other subjects. Well done on food tech! Out of interest, what do you want to do in the future?

for maths, do past papers and you can see the walkthroughs on youtube. any topics you don't understand, learn them using corbettmaths or mathswatch or anything. Also, keep a file on word and put only the questions you got wrong/were difficult to understand so you're focusing on your weak points.

for english, use youtubers MrEverythingEnglish. He gets all the content into single videos with everything as concise as possible. if you're looking for 8s and 9s in English however, I'd recommend Mr Salles and (another website which you have to pay for that I've forgotten the name for LOL, but she's really effective ask me again and I'll have found it by then). Answer essay questions and get your teacher to mark them and give you constructive criticism.

science, i crammed, so i can't really give you advice from that (I got the grade I wanted to get at least, so if you want cramming advice I can tell you

Business and religious studies, use seneca, flashcard the content on some digital app such as studysmarter, gizmo or knowt, and constantly just force yourself to go through those flashcards. learn structure to answer essay questions for business and get your teacher to mark them

rest i didn't take

Why did you mention uni? After high school, it's college. Also, they are just mock grades, not their REAL GCSE grades.

I'm not sure how far off Psychology and Business GCSE is off A level but to revise I would strongly recommend using flashcards and past papers, after completing the past papers closed book attempt to complete it after doing open booked, then refer to the mark scheme to ensure you are meeting all of the AOs, make sure your exam technique is correct and that you know how to analyse the data and context you are given within the question as this is vital if you wish to get the full marks for a question. For English Lit, I would recommend re-reading your texts and to understand the author's intention through the characters and explore the description of the surroundings, re-analysis of your poems to ensure you understand them fully and how they are structured, the form, the themes and how you can compare them to other poems once you have done this I would do past papers and ask your teacher to mark them and ask how to improve on your answers. English Language I just did past papers and learnt how the exam is structured and once again exam technique is key for answers, use the correct type of language such as figurative, sensory and set the atmosphere for a descriptive essay if you wish to choose it. Maths make sure you understand equations and the formulas and how to set out your calculations, revise and then past papers do it closed then open book and then revise what you didn't know. Science flashcards, past papers use the same process. Computer science and RS I didn't take them so I can't help but for RS I'm guessing you should just know how to structure the essay and to know all the key facts so use flashcards.
