Chemical Engineering QMUL

I've been considering making QM my insurance choice for chemical engineering, I was wondering if anyone has taken the course (or engineering in general) to tell me if QM is worth it for ChemEng over the other university im considering for my insurance which is Loughborough. Both universities are BEng with a placement year however the main reason I'm considering QM over Loughborough even though Loughborough on paper is much better than QM is that I'd much rather be in London which is closer to my home and also the student life at Loughborough doesn't look as appealing as QMUL. Both seem to have good teaching standards and everything just Loughborough has higher graduate prospects within 15 months.

Any advice will be very useful and appreciated,

Thanks.
