Hi guys, do you think I have a chance of getting into UCL, Bristol, Kings?
Predicted grades: all A*s
Lnat mcq: 26
Home Student
GCSEs: (I only did two because I was not living in the UK): 9 and 7
Personal statement: I think the way it's written could be better but in terms of content I've done many extracurriculars and languages etc. (the only thing is, upon rereading it it can sometimes come across as a list but ok)
Lnat essay: Not amazing, I ran out of time to finish and didn't write enough, I think the way I wrote it isn't too too good because I was really stressed but the thing that could be good about it is that I made reference to a couple recent event I'd read about and also made reference to a case study (which I didn't have the name of but what it proved followed my argument. Oh and I also tried to make sure to use counterarguments so I mean there could be some good stuff in there...
So I don't know if this helps my case or not but I didn't apply to straight law for any:
UCL: law and French law (I think they're a bit more relaxed on the lnat for this course than for straight law, also I'm a fluent French speaker which I hope should work in my favour)
Bristol: Law and French (same, hoping my fluency in French should help my application)
Kings: Politics, Philosophy and Law (So I know King's has a very high lnat cutoff for home students so I'm not too hopeful, but I think their cutoff score is lower this year bcs of a lower lnat average, and maybe because it's not straight law they'll have a lower cutoff score for this course?)
I'd appreciate any views!
