I'm good at both subjects and have been getting high marks in both subjects, but idk what to do. i just wanted to know which ones you guys would rate better and why

Music because of coursework - more fun too. Look at the spec for both and the style of the exam papers.

If you play an instrument you can use exam pieces for the practical.

will grade 6/7 pieces be enough?

hey! this is coming from the perspective of someone who took geography; i’ve always been good at it and i have a love for both human and physical geography. i do not regret choosing it at ALL but a downside is that its got a lottt of content and it might be hard to memorise it all. A good thing is, though, that you can easily make logical connections and apply knowledge from day-to-day life, which can make exam questions alot easier. Its great youre getting high marks in it already which could imply you are just good at it, but you should also consider whether you LIKE the subject. I believe that the more interest you have, the more likely you’ll engage in the subject (not only in school but outside aswell) and be more likely to remember content. this applies to music too!- if you love it and youre good at it, then do it! If youre still not sure, make sure to check syllabus (course overview of what you need to know) specific to your exam boards for the subject. also please take this with a grain of salt because im only in yr10 haha, good luck! x

yes - you only need grade 4 standard to get potentially full marks!

've got to choose tonight and i just wanted someone else's opinion. Would it really matter if I took music gcse and not geo gcse on my application when I'm older? I understand that there's a certain prestige to the geo gcse but is it really that much more beneficial for a career in like medicine or stem?
