How do you know if you’re ugly

I’m 18 yrs old and I’ve never had a bf or even a talking stage so it seems like no one is interested in me romantically. Is it just because I’m ugly? But other girls always tell me I’m gorgeous and stuff but honestly I can’t tell if they’re just being nice but sometimes it’s random girls I don’t even know who say it. Idk if it means I’m “girl pretty” and not “boy pretty”. I understand that beauty is subjective and everyone is beautiful in their own way but I just want any advice on how to tell if I’m ugly to most people or not?

Obviously I can't see you, so I can't tell if you're 'ugly' or not, but it isn't really about what you look like, it's about who you are and whether you have an attractive personality. Being completely honest, one of my distant friends is not what one would call typically 'beautiful' but now has a good enough looking bf because she's a great person, really open and funny. Also we're still teens, there is a lot of time yet 🙂 don't worry

Date requests only land on a plate if your well above average attractiveness. Everyone else, the majority, have to work for it. What your friends say has credibility and you’re not exactly ancient so don’t worry. Never contemplate being ugly, it’s a negative mindset that is never true. Attractiveness is also about looks and personality
