medicine licence

hi everyone. if you get a medical licence in the US will you be able to work all over the world or just in the US? If you get it in the UK instead will you be able to work all over the world including the US? also, at what point in your studies do you get your medical licence? Right after university or when?

After medical school in the uk, you'll have to take different extra exams to qualify to work in another country instead of just the UK

I think it is after your med school, MBBS or MBBcH qualification or possibly after the 2 foundation years but most likely not. However, after that you will need to do certain exams to go to the US for specialisation etc

Medical school as in university. As soon as you've graduated after your 4-6 years (depending on how long your uni course is) you are a qualified doctor
