I did aqa geography and honestly? It’s all past paper revision, the questions are very similar each year. Learn how to master answering 6 mark questions. Your case studies should also be good, your writing the same thing over and over just make flash card to remember key information for them. Paper 3 is all fieldwork so that paper should easily carry your grade. Paper 2 is where I lost a lot of marks so focus on whichever paper you find harder, it’s all past paper!

Ohp lol I basically did all different exam boards apart from geography so not sure how much help I can be...but some general advice as someone who got all 9s, start past paper practice as early as possible!! And if you're worried about using all your resources up too early, then ask ChatGPT to make exam papers with answers specific to your exam boards - this is obviously not as good as real ppqs but it's good for targeted practice and saves the best resources for closer to your exams! Feel free to pm me if you want some more advice but I did different exam boards so I'm not sure how transferable it is?

In Food Tech, I did OCR. But one of the ways I got a 9 was to revise a lot of the knowledge on Seneca Learning. I found it very helpful. There wasn't one for OCR, but I did the Edexcel and WJEC (I think). I think food tech is more just having the knowledge, at least for my exam board you don't need to analyse/write that many essays. If you get very high grades in English and history, you should be good.
I did your other subjects, but different exam boards. Food Tech is the one that links across exam boards.

Do you need an advice for the NEA or have you already submitted it?

okkk tysmmm I locked in this half term and gonna do practice questions all next week and exam technique so I can start practice papers on the 2nd of march for that whole 2 weeks so the only things I will have outstanding is English lit as the quotes Im still learning that's probs the only exam I worried for idk how revise it so tips pls but yeah sorry this is all over the place but basically I will only have to do left is after the 9th of march is Romeo and Juliet , poetry anthology , Christmas carol and inspector calls I would have finished all exam qs and content and technique for EVERYTHING but that on the 9th of march is that good enough and then just carry on doing flashcards and exam qs in the weekday and past papers on the weekend up until the exam?? so yeah English lit im not too sure how to revise I have ALL my quotes and grade 9 analysis for each character even the unknown ones for Christmas carol and inspector calls 10 for each but Romeo and Juliet I can't and im just so tired of it I only have quotes for Romeo what do you suggest I do bc I think I will be fine with IC AND CC bc I find those ones easy as they are like normal English lol and shorter but whenever I see Romeo and Juliet my kind of switches off I also have a mock on it on like the 25th of march pls any tips sorry im waffling so muhc but ty for replying to my previous msg!!!

Hi! How did you ask ChatGPT to generate a whole paper? I think it's a great idea but haven't tried yet! I've asked it to write a question based on a particular thing for essay subjects before but not a whole paper? Have you done this for subjects like geography, etc? And what sort of things do you say to it? Thanks! Just curious x

Hey! I'm just suuuper specific, ask for questions based on GCSE past paper questions from your exam boards, how many questions, what level /difficulty (i.e grade 9 level ect), how many marks( I usually say ~ 15 multiple choice then 15 multi step long answer questions with a mixture of 2-4 markers and 6 markers), and then I ask for the mark scheme in the style of the exam boards as well.

I'm currently doing science and maths A levels and use this to practice questions on specific modules without having to search through loads of past papers or questions on those topics and it's honestly improved my productivity and motivation loaddss because I actually feel like I'm getting stuff done when I revise!!

As a GCSE student last year i tried this too, and i told it to mark my question based on question paper styles but i don't thing i would recommend it though, I would highly still recommend doing the past papers on aqa or whatever board you do as they are really important as every year the questions are very similar just a bit different wordings and if you do a lot of past papers , then you can have specific answers memorised and know exactly to write for a specific question and not waste time, writing things for questions that you don't get marks for in the mark scheme, using this method i manged to get 9's in all the sciences, and because i didn't waste time on questions i would have like 45 mins when i finished all the questions to go through all the
questions and check my answers!:smartass:

Food tech - as someone mentioned previously, use Seneca learning it's a great way to refresh your knowledge and you can do quizzes on it - I did eduqas and I felt that for a lot of questions you can just use common sense/knowledge and link it to the question.

Maths - (I got 8)practice questions - you can repeat the same qs. - always write steps even if you don't get an answer - just write your thought process.

Chemistry - (I got 9) past paper questions - personally I didn't do a lot of questions, I mostly focused on the mark scheme and takes notes from it - if you do the same questions repeatedly you could easily remember a lot of definitions.

Geography - case studies are really important - I genuinely believe that if I had learned more I would have got a 9 (I got 8 btw)
Physics - there was a lot of content and my teacher was really bad so I didn't learn much - but thank God I got 8 - the best thing is to learn from mark scheme, learn how to do conversions .

Biology - (I got 9) key words are really important. When describing anything arrange it in a logical, step by step way - again redoing past paper questions will help you remember answers

General science advice - remember the steps to practicals, learn off mark schemes - you could make a "summary sheet" of questions you got wrong and write the mark scheme answer - you can review this daily

For NEA 2 - manage your time really well - there is always going to be something that you were planning but not able to do so don't worry about it - leave yourself 15 mins at the end to clean the workspace and present your dishes attractively.
For reports, use a lot of adjectives and definitions - constantly link it back to your topic.

The teachers would mark about your - time management, dove tailing, cleaning constantly, how you present etc.
