NEED HELP! Going back to uni! Student Finance!

Hi,
I studied architecture, I passed my first year and repeated a module of second year twice and dropped out of uni (used 3 years of student finance). This was during COVID time and was really stressful and mentally draining. I then took a break and had a baby.
I am now planning on going back to uni, but unfortunately I cannot afford to pay out of my pocket. So I’m considering a few options.
Would you be able to help me to which option I would be able to have full funding both tuition and maintenance loan.

1- BSc health and social care part time 4 year length course
2- BSc occupational therapy full time 3 year length course
3- BA social work 3 year full time

Can you please advise me on which I would be able to still be granted both tuition and maintenance loan?

Or if there are any other options to be able to get those two.

Hi there,

Would you be starting the course in the 2025/26 academic year? What university's are the courses at?

Thanks, Drew

Hi there, I've enclosed a list below on the exception courses

https://www.heinfo.slc.co.uk/resources/guidance/courses-management-service-user-guide/eligibility/equivalent-or-lower-qualification-elq-exceptions/?alttemplate=printchapter&id=1454

Some courses like social work (attract just maintenance loan), whereas some courses such as Occupational Therapy offer the full funding - as long as you're not already registered in this field.

Thanks, Jason
