Nursing associate FDSc placements
Hi everyone, I am 51 with 30 years experience as a healthcare assistant and hope to start the above course in April at Bolton. I have my interview in April. I want to know what your experiences have been on placements and did you get much choice in where you went e.g choice of wards/specialities/community/GP practice. I would eventually like to go into community but have also worked for 10 years in acute settings. Did you do the jobs of healthcare assistants whilst on placement? What was the workload like for study Vs work? Thank you for your info I'm looking forward to getting started 🙂
