imperial rejections

hi, just wanted to see if anyones gotten rejections from imperial college london yet? i applied for design engineering, submitted my ucas application in december, but had a terrible ESAT result so im not really expecting an interview, but just wanted to see if i can expect a decision anytime soon?

Still waiting to hear back. Did ESAT in Jan and just got my results - rly bad :smile:

. I'm just hoping for a miracle but I heard they're taking ages.

I applied for Physics 4 year course! Thank you and to you too. I have heard some people apparently got interviews with scores below 4 but it rly depends..

frrr like where's my rejection at ,imperial. idk what to expect now. some ppl r getting interviews with esat below avg and without contextual either. Whilst I'm sitting here thinking my ps would save me but STILL WAITING.

i knoww, im so close to just withdrawing my application but that small sliver of hope that ill somehow scrape an interview still lives 😭😭 let us know if you hear anything!

Nope. I emailed and they basically told me to shutup and wait lol. They're saying ideally responses will come before the end of March, but really and truly they have until mid May..

Update! I got a rejection and it really felt like crap for a while even though it was to be expected. im trying to take an optimistic stance and considering transferring after first year, but goodluck everyone! and if youre in the same boat as me dont feel too discouraged, everything in life happened for a reason. Your true worth isnt based on this, but it will show through your strength even in failure :smile:

Hii congrats! That's really tough.. did you firm it? I know a few friends who have gotten the same offer of A*A*A* and actually chose to not firm it since getting that is highly difficult.

Im thinking of firming it...but haven't made my final decision
