I'm the only artworker at my company, but my team often makes me feel like I'm not doing a good job. They constantly contradict what I say, and whenever I find the best solution to fix a particular issue, they propose other ideas that don’t actually solve the problem.
Recently, I was working on a project when my manager accused me of not doing a good job because of a particular issue in the artwork. As soon as I examined it, I immediately understood what was wrong. I tried to explain the issue to my manager, but they weren’t willing to listen. Since they’re not artworkers, I found it difficult to communicate the problem in a way they would understand.
I usually have a range of solutions to resolve artwork issues, but no matter how I tried to fix this one, nothing seemed to work.
Now, I’m worried that I’ll be fired or let go from this company—especially since something similar happened to me before, where I wasn’t considered good enough for the role, and they decided to let me go.
I’m really passionate about my work and deeply dedicated, but it’s disheartening when others seem determined to bring me down.
