do internal art deadlines count for anything??

i know the answer is probably yes, but we were told our final gcse art submission is this week, even though edexcel's deadline is the 31st May. i understand it takes time for it to be marked and moderated and stuff, but i need more time to work on it, so if i gave it in a day late would my coursework not be submitted???

you have to talk to your teacher about extending your deadline, but i think they’ll assume that you have a reason for the request as it can be seen as unfair to have a different deadline to others

As lqster said above, internal deadlines can be extended if there's a valid reason for the extension (e.g. bereavement, illness, mental health struggles, etc.).

I'd speak to your teacher and discuss your request for extra time. It's best to be honest about your situation: are you extremely busy with other subjects, or are you experiencing any personal difficulties which makes completing the coursework difficult under the time constraints?
