Yes I have, unfortunately got rejected but I wanted to do an alternative course at UCL because of their Hatchery amongst other things anyways so I'm not really annoyed.

Context for you:
Resit student
Currently at uni for CS
Grades : A*A*A (Maths, Econ and History respectively)
GCSES: 988888887

Hey don't be sorry, I got into the course I actually wanted to go to the most just now (UCL Economics and Business with Eastern European Studies).

They gave limited feedback but it was PS-based. My PS was a bit more general in terms of tailoring, and being a 20yr old at university already- I didn't expect to get in nor did I really want to go to the LSE.

Despite this, my best advice if you are looking to apply is to talk about political theory and science just as much as you talk about with economics.

If you have already applied, their feedback is usually very lacklustered.
I heard back early because I sent in a revised statement from my academic reference which probably put me at the top of the pile for their applications.

Furthermore, when you talk about your PS try to offer a view. Look into any research papers on things you find interesting and talk about it. Furthermore, always paste your PS into UCAS because there is a weird line limit as well as a word limit that you can only check with the UCAS PS entry formatting. If you do these things, within a week you will have a strong PS.

Heard back from LSE a couple weeks ago and they rejected me based on my GCSE English Language and Maths being too low.

I haven't cried about it though. Wasn't really sure I was going to like London anyway, being warned about the costs especially. I'll be starting in Lancaster this year.

If it helps I'm doing IR and Politics.

English was a 5 and Maths was a 4. LSE wants 6's in them

Might have to depend on which course people applied for and if people didn't use A levels. BTECs might have already had a response?
