Ignore list not working on the app

Hi. Thanks for letting us know. We haven't added it to the app yet but it is on the list of features to be put in. It really doesn't make sense to have it in the web and not the app! Thanks again.

Thank you. Will the ability to block at least FHs ever be enabled? (I can understand not being able to block VT/VSL or CS/GS, but can’t understand the logic behind FH).

I've checked with the dev team. When we implement this in the app we will also be changing which groups can be blocked. Users from these groups cannot be blocked (so Forum Helpers can be):

I'm not sure exactly, but I think its a product decision and not for any technical reason. 🙂 Reps shouldn't be posting anything inappropriate on site to warrant being ignored!

I mean some people want to be able to block other users regardless of the content that they post. The reason why I can understand not being able to block the other groups is that they might put out important warnings and messages.
This doesn’t apply to reps (like how it also doesn’t apply to FHs) which is why I asked why can’t ORs can’t be ignored.

I'm sorry, I think misunderstood how you would use the ignore list. You're right that users' might want to block people regardless of content and that's fair enough. 🙂 I don't know the exact reason that Official Reps can't be blocked but I don't expect this will change though.

Because when you try to block certain people it says “X can’t be blocked because they are a moderator” or whatever.
ORs aren’t moderators by any stretch of imagination, that’s why I queried this.

Yep its a fair question. It was meant to be a joke about reps posting inappropriate content so I didn't need to add that. Thanks again for explaining.
