how different are oxford admissions for international students?

for reference, I'm Asian and my entire country sends only a few people to oxbridge at most which makes it really really daunting. I've wanted to go to Oxford and study law all my life. I know Oxford wants LNAT scores around 30 overall, but how much do you actually need if you're an international student?
hoping for some advice from any oxford ba jurisprudence students/grads/previous admissions officers

Approximately 20% of Oxford undergraduates are non-UK. The only quota is one applied nationally by the UK government to non-UK medical students. You might have to demonstrate proficiency in English. Other than that, Oxford treats applications from international students in the same way as applications from UK students.

There is no required LNAT score. This year the average score of successful applicants to read law was 31 but please note that this is an average, not a minimum.

Good luck.

Please take a look at the Law forums and the forums of the top universities too.

This year so far, offers have been made from Cambridge, UCL, KCL and Durham to UCAS applicants who had just LNAT scores in their mid 20s but some of them performed extremely well in the LNAT essay. 😉

Which other 4 choices are you considering here in England, UK? 🙂

Am international student who graduated from Oxford law.

International students are treated exactly the same as British home students (with the exception of Medicine, which has a quota set by the UK government) for admissions purposes. Unlike the US universities, there is no "quota" for individual countries. The tutors aim to select the best candidates across the entire applicant pool - you will not be held to a higher (or lower) standard by virtue of being an international student.

All A*AA offer conditions but Oxford is AAA. 🙂

What are your A-Level subjects and predicted grades?

Did you do IGCSEs?

Or are you doing the IB? 😧
