GCSEs

So I'm doing ten GCSEs, English lit and lang, Maths, separate sciences, statistics, French, Spanish and drama. I really want to drop statistics as I really dislike it and find it very hard. There is only one class so I can't go to an easier set. The only thing stopping me is that in the future I want to join the RAF. Statistics is supposed to be quite useful for that so I don't really know.

I say drop statistics - the variety of GCSEs you're doing already cover what needs to be covered. There is a statistics A-level if you change your mind about it later, but for now I think you'll be ok regardless. Good luck!

Hi, I took statistics early and would say that if you're y10 stick it out for a bit longer and if you're still unhappy drop it end of y10. Some of stats is hard/weird and some is easy, it really depends on the topic. If you do decide to ditch it I doubt it will make any difference to joining the RAF anyway. If you're y11 then drop it quick...
