Which Durham college is best?

Which college would you recommend for a social person, who likes sport but not uber competitive sport& would like a catered college with a private room? No 1 priority is to have a social fun space.

I understand Collingwood would be good to look at.
You will have seen you can compare the colleges on the uni website and each college has a web page too.
Many YouTube videos too.

If I'm being honest, all colleges offer relatively the same social hub and sports/societies, the main difference is accommodation and catering. If you're looking for a more traditional catered college, you may want to have a look at some of the bailey colleges and if you want a less traditional college, the hill would be the place to look. You have options like St Aidans, Grey, Marys, Collingwood, Trevs and Van Mildert and they're all great colleges! Collingwood has a 'reputation' for being the sporty competitive college but college sport tends to be slightly competitive at all colleges. Collingwood also happens to be one of the biggest colleges (and in my opinion the best bar on the hill 😆 ) so it may be more social, I would recommend having a look and then expanding your search at other catered colleges.
