Turkish edexce a level

Hi I’m sitting Turkish edexcel a level as a native speaker this summer and am wondering if there are any resources available online to help me to learn what I need to know regarding paper 1 and 3, the individual research project and if there any resources to help me on analysis for the book and movie

I took my A Level Turkish exam last year and got a B because the grade boundaries were quite high. Unfortunately, there isn’t much support available on social media. However, if you’ve already watched the film and finished reading the book, you should be fine.

Hi, How far in advance should you begin revising to secure an A do you think ?

Hi! I’m not sure about this year’s exam dates, but I can share my experience from last year. I started studying about a week before my exam. One of my challenges was that my English wasn't strong enough, but my Turkish was much better.
If you’re aiming for an A in Turkish, I recommend starting earlier around 3 weeks before your exam. Focus especially on solving past papers, particularly Paper 1 and Paper 2, since they carry more marks. Also, make sure you have complete notes for both the book and the film you’ve chosen.
Keep in mind that the grade boundaries are quite high, ALL THE BEST!

Hey just wondering how you sat the alevel? Did you have any lessons. I’m considering doing it independently but just don’t know how i’d go about doing it by myself or if i need to get a tutor or something as there aren’t many resources online

Sitting it this month/ early next month, I’ve been doing everything independently no lessons or tutor and lots of others I know doing home languages are in the same position, for resources I’ve actually been using chat gpt to produce questions and mark them for me and to help me analyse the book and the movie!

Hi if you’re doing edexcel the books are:
Üç Anadolu efsanesi, Yaşar Kemal
Veda, Ayşe Kulin
Sessiz ev, Orhan Pamuk

Movies are:
İftarlık Gazoz, director Yükzel Asku
Çınar Ağaçı, director Handan İpekçi
Dedemin İnslanları, director Çağan Irmak

You have to pick one book and one movie or two books, this is only needed in paper 2 though I think

Thank you so much for your help. I’m not a native speaker so I really need to revise everything in depth. Hopefully, it will be enough for an A or B
Thanks so much again Jessica, you are a life saver

Hii, memnun oldum
Yes of course, if you need help with anything like the translation let me know
I’m using an online translator for the essay question we will do tomorrow (I think there will be one on ‘geleneksel kutlamalar’, do you think using a translator is okay? To prepare for what I will write?

Ben de memnun oldum ) don't think there will be a problem, but it should be checked. If you want me to check, you can send me a message. Good luck, I'm sure it will be good.

Kebab.
