Uni of Notts without a doubt for me, for me QMUL is massively overrated, also dont look into rankings too much, most unis pay to get their rankings up.

Disregard rankings, they have no significance in the real world. Choose the course and place which you most like. I would say that QMUL is underrated rather than overrated, but such judgments are subjective.

Tbh, from my research I've found that difference in opportunity is very small between the Russell Group Universities for Law. As long as you work hard to get your First and get your training contract, it shouldn't matter which of these you end up choosing since they both rank highly in Law. It should more so be about location, costs, etc. when making your choice between these two.

the training contract is the hard part which is why I want to know which university that could set me up for that if it was based only on the uni u go to. Tbh world rankings qmul is significantly higher than notts but not the UK ones. appreciate your comment.

World rankings according to topuniversities.com? However Edurank regards Nottingham as 10th in the UK for Law, QMUL as 27th.

Then (which I appreciate is less relevant) there's overall as universities- topuniversities.com regards Nottingham as 108th in the world, QMUL as 120th (with no UK universities inbetween them though). Edurank regards Nottingham as 12th in the UK, QMUL as 20th.

QMUL as 27th in the UK for law?? thats bs, QMUL is top 40 in the world for law and like 8th in the UK. HTE and QS rankings. So if notts is 108th in the world and QMUL is 120th in the world (overall) how is uni of notts 12th in the UK and QMUL is 20th? when you said there is no university inbetween, that just doesnt make sense at all.

Debate about rankings is about as useful as Medieval Scholasticism. Let monks debate how many angels can dance on the point of a pin. In the real world, rankings do not matter to legal sector recruitment decisions.
