Aita for not wanting to be friends with my friends ex

One of my close friends we will be calling oven for the sake of not wanting to give out identity’s. So oven dated this guy we will call salad dressings . Salad dressing seemed normal at first he was cool he acted normal and told small jokes that made me and a few others laugh. Until salad dressing and oven started having relationship problems. Salad dressing started making weird comments about me and a couple other friends. Until they’re first breakup. then he started saying he was gonna SA me in my sleep along with some other friends. After they got back together he would distance himself from everyone and I was happy with this. Until they’re second breakup then he then he just got even more weird and even sent my best friend friends pics of things I personally never wanna see ever again. After they got together again and broke up again he started making small insults and now he wants to be my friend. AITA

No ur not an *******, please report him to someone (teacher?) and ignore or distance yourself from him completely. This is very concerning.

Wow he sounds awful. This is less about the fact that he's your friend's ex and more about not wanting to be with someone who sends unsolicited pictures and talks about SAing people. Completely reasonable to distance yourself, and if he's persistent you should think carefully about whether you want to get a responsible adult involved.

Side note, oven? Salad dressing?? Where do you get this stuff

No. You can be friends or not friends with whoever you want, but in this case it sounds like a positively reasonable decision not to have anything to do with him. And I agree with others. If this behaviour continues in any way, do consider reporting it to someone.
