King's College or Southampton Uni for nursing?

I'm torn between the two universities and wondering if anyone could help me decide.

On one hand I'm amazed I even got into King's and feel it could be a waste of an opportunity not to go. King's has prestige, world class facilities, and may support me to go further in my career.

On the other hand Southampton has accepted me for the dual course I was originally interested in, still ranks highly, and seems to have more support for students (from what I've seen).

I'm also really struggling with the idea of living in London and the insane costs which come with it. Can anyone shed some light on the benefits of each and whether King's is really worth it?

Thanks in advance!

Rankings are meaningless for nursing courses as they are all held to the same standard by the NMC, and the NHS won't care where you qualify. King's is known for poor student support. If you prefer the course at Southampton, choose Southampton.

Thankyou for the input. I suppose I'm curious about whether there is a benefit to being at Kings because of new research and developments, and the top hospitals you can can placements at? I know ultimately the course is respected the same, but is the level of experience and proximity to new developments different?

You will still enter the NHS on band 5 no matter where you have studied and where your placements are. Are there any elective weeks on Southampton's timetable that might allow you to visit other hospitals (in the UK or abroad)?
