Edinburgh mathematical physics or UCL maths and physics?

Hi I'm a Scottish student in S6 and I've got an unconditional offer for Edinburgh uni (mathematical physics MPhys) and a conditional offer for UCL (maths and physics MSci). I'm really not sure which one is better for maths and physics. It's my dream to work at NASA, which uni would benefit me more to help me get there?

Is there a cost difference for you?

based off of reputation (academic prestige), I would say go with UCL - it ranks higher and will also be better in terms of social life and making friends! Downside is that london is very expensive - so if money is a major issue I’d go with Edinburgh.

yeah Edinburgh would be free for me so I would just need to pay for accommodation and food, but London id have to pay for everything.

Thanks! I'm also quite stuck between UCL and St Andrews, because academically they're both quite good in the UK. But in the world St Andrews ranks much lower, which is kinda confusing. I'm not sure which uni would look give me a better chance of doing a Master's at Oxbridge and Phd at an Ivy.

Have you done any research into which undergraduate courses convert students to Oxbridge Masters degrees for your subject? That's the best possible information on which to choose between St Andrews and UCL though tbh a very high First at any decent UK university gives you a good shot at most Masters degrees at Oxbridge in most subjects.
