I’m currently in year 10 GCSE student now, I would like to say I’m pretty good in maths better than everyone in my school,please don’t take it as arrogance it’s just I get things a bit easier than others when it comes to maths, as such I have taken the initiative to do further maths myself I know I can get atleast a 7 if I start now however I would like to know because my school doesn’t offer it can I do it at a centre for example or institution that offers it and just sit the exam?

yes I did this for GCSE psychology. you can privately sit exams, although first I would try explaining to your school what you are doing and seeing if they can facilitate it. this is because I imagine it will be difficult to get between exams during your GCSE period (if you have to leave midway through the day to go sit another exam) and because if you sit it privately you will have to pay. there are lots of organisations which offer this service - I would recommend the one I use but you need to pick one near where you live. Hey I am also taking further maths and finding out my story matches out with yours , I started further maths as a final decision a few weeks ago , within the first week I solved a 5 marker question , deemed harder by other students. It has extra topics , usually covered in 3 months but honestly your fine
