Anyone heard back?/ knowns the timeline?

From previous threads I've seen offers go out from April 1, I've had an interview and been told informally that I would not be ranked first for funding (so I guess it's no, though weirdly they said I was still very much in the running for a place)

the interview was for your course? and I think you can be in the running even if you are not first because other people might withdraw?

Yes, with the supervisors. I guess so, but if it's only being in the running in case someone else drops out, the chances seem extremely slim 😅

I'm curious if you guys know of instances where the faculty does not inform you that your application was nominated for the OOC DTP - I know that History at Cambridge does inform you, but do you know if so does English?

Just got an AHRC OOC offer for PhD English.

Congratulations! Are you the same person who posted in the main thread? Trying to see if I need to lose hope yet haha! (History PhD applicant)

If I'm the Cambridge English PhD from about half an hour ago on the main Cambridge thread, then yes, haha! Very best of luck to you.

Has anyone from Oxford received AHRC OOC DTP funding in the arts?

Congrats previous Cam poster!!
Here for DPhil at Oxford, modern languages, no news

The worst thing about this is that no news could mean either a rejection or the possibility that award notifications occur at different times for different disciplines/universities.

Yup! Still hoping theres a chance 🥲

Does anyone know if all OOC results come out at one time? Or do the different disciplines release at different times?

Looking at the few messages on past threads, it seems they didn't come out at the same time, and there were offers until like June so I guess people getting off waitlists

I wonder if it’s people getting off waitlists or if not all first-choice applicants are notified at once? Probably time to lessen hope either way
