What's student life like at University of Portsmouth?

I am torn between studying biomedical science at Reading or at Portsmouth, and I would appreciate if anyone can help me figure out which lifestyle I would prefer. Thanks!!

Hi!

I hope you're well.

Do you have any specific questions about the student life at Reading? Generally I have really enjoyed my time here and have chosen to stay in Reading after graduated as I have liked it so much. There is a good amount of things to do in the town centre, whilst still having lots of nice green spaces, including the campus. There are a ton of societies that the uni run, and lots of activities which are held on campus.

Let us know if there's anything else you'd like to know!

Hiya,

I am a fourth-year student at Portsmouth, and I can say that we have a wide range of societies available to students, many of which are free to join. There is a great student night on a Wednesday where a lot of societies get dressed up to go out, and there is a great range of clubs, pubs and bars around Portsmouth.

I have enjoyed my time here as well and know a lot of people who have stayed following graduation. Take a look at both Universities' Student Union pages to see what societies may be of interest to you, and follow/take a look at their social media accounts!
There is also the beach and lots more chill stuff to do, including loads of great cafes and Gunwarf Quays.

If you have any specific Portsmouth questions, feel free to give me a shout.
