Hiya!

Great to hear you’ll be joining us at DMU, I hope you’re excited! 🙂 If you have any questions about the university or even Leicester as a city, feel free to ask.

Hopefully, someone else studying Dance will respond to your post, but don’t worry too much if they don’t. I didn’t meet or speak to anyone on my course before my first official day either! You might have some luck checking out Facebook groups for DMU Freshers 25/26 (just keep in mind these aren’t official, so anyone can post there). We also have the Ambassador platform, where group chats are available, and closer to results day, people often start asking about courses.

If you're interested, DMU also has a Dance Society! While you can’t officially join just yet, you can check out their social media to learn more. There are also plenty of other societies to explore when you arrive I was just putting two and two together that it may something you are interested in.
