As someone who is currently living in University managed accommodation if you have any questions about anything at all please do let me know! I would be very happy to help!

Did you know that you will be guaranteed accommodation if you apply for university-managed accommodation before the 1st September?

Hi! Looking for accommodation but reading trust pilot its a bit scary! I've looked at opal court and study inn (reynard house), could you recommend me one of these as they're my top options or any others that you think is best! I am looking for en-suite with all bills included! Preferably somewhere nice!

Heyyy doing a Tenancy takeover for an 8-bed en-suite cluster in D Block Lumis Leicester £161 per week. I’ve already paid the £100 deposit so all you need to do is move in and pay the rent x
Contract is from 06/09/25-28/08/26
It's right opposite DMU, a 15-20 minute walk to UOL and a 5 minute walk to town x
What's included in your rent payment when you choose accommodation with the University of Leicester?

When you live in our accommodation, you don't have to worry about any hidden costs. Your accommodation fees include:

All utility bills, with no limit on the amounts you use ♨️💧💡

High speed wi-fi in all rooms and communal areas📡

Basic room contents insurance (in most properties), with the option to pay for additional cover to suit your need

Lots of organised events and activities

Access to 24-hour support services

Hi @Rabia [s]smile[/s] )

I agree looking at Trust pilot can be a bit intimidating, while I suggest going with the easy route of University Managed accommodation.
if you're only seriously considering Opal court and Study inn.
I'm not perfectly certain which is the better option as out of All my friends only 3 have lived in the study inn with the majority living in Opal court and none of them have complained about their living spaces. the tiniest complaint maybe the distance but its not that much of a difference.

Your Best bet is booking a viewing as you'll be living there for a Year.

Hello, I wanted to ask about accom options with a budget of ~100 or less pw. I understand there is around 7 options? Which of them have the least complaints from other students, as I’d like to get the best I can with my limited budget. I am firming for med, I know my options include Beaumont, Lasdun, Shirley and Southmeade. Btw, I am going for single bedrooms no sharing. Thanks x

Why are there no photos of the inside of Southmead House?

Hello @asyfas

It is understandable that you are looking for the best accommodation for your budget, but I would suggest that this is very subjective and depends on what kind of place you are looking for. I have never lived in the village accommodation, but one of my favourites is Beaumont because it is literally on the doorstep of the beautiful botanical gardens, and it is across the road from the other accommodation in its own sort of complex, which I find portrays it as a friendly, closed community.

I imagine you have already looked at the different accommodation types in person but you can also look at our 360 degree room tours online on our website. https://le.ac.uk/study/undergraduates/accommodation

I hope this helps. if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to let me know.
