GSK Degree Apprentice Applicants Thread 2025

Creating this so there’s a thread for all DA applicants (although non-degree apprentices are welcome too!) to share their experience.

What’s everyone’s workday looking like? I’ve stalked other forums—past and present, including the graduate ones—and I’m assuming “assessment” means assessment centre. But apparently, the workday isn’t updated too regularly, so I’m not sure what to make of it all.

Yes I confirmed it the email said: Date – 21st March 2025
Duration time: 12:30pm -5pm (UK time) please arrive at least 30 minutes before the beginning of Assessment Center!
Kinda scared because the ac is nothing like what ive done before 😅 it has an ice breaker, presentation, 2 individual exercises on a project launch, strength based interview, motivation and technical interview all while fasting 😂

Hey,
I've also got through to an assessment centre at the Ware site! Mine is for laboratory science (chemistry). I'm going next week but on the 20th and I've got the same structure as you!
And I've also never done anything like it before, good luck, hopefully we both get it 😀

Hey Guys. I got my AC tomorrow! I'm quite nervous over the interview more than anything else. I applied for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Engineering DA. Anyone else in the same boat as me or attending the AC at 19th March?

Oh you're doing chem related too! Mine is 19th so that's strange. GSK must have many AC dates. You have any idea how many students who also applied for your DA ended up in the AC too? It'd give me a good idea for my experience tomorrow....

Hey, sorry for the late reply, I'm new to the student room.

My Assessment Centre was in person and all the previous stages were online. It must vary based on role and location.

Hey, well done, hope it went well! I'm not sure how many people applied but I think there was roughly 10 of us that got to the AC stage.
