Is the future leaders programme worth it?- past students please respond

I'm currently doing this but I feel like all I'm doing is completing osche modules with so much work that it takes me 1 hrs to do. I also never get offered any trips even though I always see people on linkdlein doing it .???
Idk it just seems like a waste of my time !
Also why have I been put into the online classes . Even though I live in west London. Might be because either go to a school in Berkshire bit still

If anyone replies to this let me know. I’m also in the same boat. I signed up to Future Leaders through the appeal of work experience and scholarships and all i’ve done is watch videos and complete google docs which I submit to a google classroom for 600 students. Is there any use for completing this program?

Are you aware of how they select individuals for the trips based on who made the best essay? I keep falling behind recently on my submissions because, frankly, I feel I am already quite familiar with the topics, and I also believe there are other extracurricular activities that are more beneficial for me. It would be fairer if they allowed some of us to attend in person and for us to "bid" on trips as well.

I agree with everyone here. The programme demands weekly commitment, but given the content we’re provided, it isn’t a priority for me. As a result, I sometimes submit assignments late or forget to complete them altogether. I strive to be punctual, but the way this programme is structured makes that difficult, which in turn prevents me from demonstrating my full potential. I believe we should be given proper work-related opportunities at least once a month.

oh that’s interesting, i wasn’t aware that there was such a selection going on. Well do you know about the people who don’t get selected and make it to the end of the course?

Will they get just a certificate and no additional access to such opportunities ? If so, i’m just not going to bother continuing doing work for FutureLeaders as I have way better uses for 1 hour of my time every week.

Yeah I have no idea on how they select individuals. But i think the trips are for the in-person students?

I know this is late, but for those who are watching, to be honest, the future leaders online program was the most useless program I've ever signed up for. It would waste so much of my time, and I don't even get how the activities we would do would relate to anything at all. They would make you search up a word and tell you to write an essay on that word, in your own words. They would make you write essays on islamophobia. I'm not saying these are bad stuff, but they never related to anything. I ended up leaving. While I would revise, they would Email saying I've missed my work, so leaving just made everything easier
