S6 Subject choices

I am currently doing Higher human biology, chemistry, maths, English and Spanish. I know id like to do Advanced higher biology, chemistry and Higher Sports development. I've heard that Caritas is good while doing advanced highers but I want to study dentistry so I am not sure. Thank you

Yes, as I'm sure you'll know these subjects are fine for dentistry, just make sure you get minimum A's (maybe 1 B) at higher. Then B's at advanced higher and your higher to fulfill the conditional offer.

You'd also want to be looking for work experience in a dentists, as well as some sort of volunteering in somewhere like a care home.
Then you want to do well in the ucat this summer and write a half decent personal statement.
If you've done all these things to a high standard, you'll get an interview at a uni and then if you do well in that interview, you get a place in dentistry (if you fulfill your conditional offer which is usually just B's).
I know you'll already know most of this, just making sure as many think it is just school grades that get you in.
