Does anyone know how long Glasgow School of Art takes to get back normally?

Did you apply on UCAS and are you talking about receiving an offer vs rejection?

Yeah, I did, they sent me an email with log in details to submit my digital portfolio which I did on 05/02 at around 11am, and I just mean how long it takes to hear back from them regardless of whether it’s a rejection or an offer

I’m not sure how it works for the GSA specifically but if you submitted your application in by the equal consideration deadline then you should hear back by May:

Hi, I applied for GSA fashion design at the end of January, was asked to submit the portfolio some days later, and got the offer about three weeks later. Good luck with your application!

hey, applied to fashion at gsa too, still haven't heard back, i submitted my portfolio around 2 weeks before the deadline..., however i dont have high hopes... as they have only got 10 spaces and most people im aware of have already got their offers and posted on here ☹️ lmk if u do get one though!

Yeah, the only person I know who has heard back from them got rejected so I’m still hoping they’re just being slow with making a decision. Good Luck!! I hope you get into your first choice!!

How do you know that there are only 10 places in this course? You talk about bachelor course, right? Is this information correct? This would be a VERY small class, right?

Yes, I have went to their open day and asked how many they take in per year for the BA fashion design course for Glasgow school of art, and they said they only offer 10-15 places but usually 10 every year, depending on intake. And they have 1000+ intake every year, it's extremely competitive.

honestly have no idea, but probably quite a lot and not too much as they would have to give everyone a chance at the same time minimise the pool of candidates they're picking from with the interview, then the final 10 they pick is the ones that get in and receive an acceptance letter

today marks 2 months since i submitted my portfolio ☹️ I really want to hear back as this is my second choice, I have already been rejected to first choice so im just rly worried .....
