GCSE Maths Retake

Hi! So I am a year 13 student who is passionate about studying chemistry at univeristy. I am taking a gap year after a levels to do biology, and I was thinking about retaking gcse maths. At gcse i scored a grade 5 however, some of the schools I want to get into require a high maths gcse grade if maths/further maths a level was not taken (foundation year courses). My exams are ending on the 20th of june, im thinking of taking at least a week or 2 break and then starting with bio and maths but am just wondering if anyone has any tips??? My retake exam should be during november time so id have 5~ months to prepare and I need to score highly but I'm so lost in terms of my revision since im too busy worrying about a levels at the moment .Thank you!

I also wanted to ask if anybody knows any free options for me I am already paying for my biology and it would be really beneficial if the exams were covered as well as the teaching. Side note cant spend a year in a college doing night school etc since most of the courses I found take a year unless anyone knows any colleges that cover the whole spec by november? Thanks!

Hello please clarify what do you mean you pay biology? You pay for the exams and lessons in college since you’re over 19?

Why is it not possible of doing AS this year for bio with your A2 Subjects does your college not accept any intake of students they should if you are not over 19.

So long story short my school basically kicked out kids from their subjects who werent performing well in them and mine just so happened to be bio, they told we way too late (almost october time) so i couldnt transfer schools. And my school doesnt accept over 19 students. But I am asking about GCSE maths!!
