Hello! I’ve accepted my unconditional offer to study Health and Social Care at the University of Essex. I originally applied for FdSc Oral Health Science but was unsuccessful. I then however received this offer and was so overjoyed that they liked my application!

Did you receive an unsuccessful reply for the oral health science course for this year, just gauging when to expect a reply? If you think the health and social care course is right for you and you shave an interest in the subject I say go for it 😊

I am currently studying at course at UoE, applied for oral health science for 2025 September intake, and I have been accepted! This course just fulfils your entry requirements for Oral health science but its not guaranteed, still you have to go thru application, interviews to be considered.

Hi, could you tell me what days/hours the health and social care course is currently on please. I have been offered a place for this course and I am just trying to get an idea of days I would need to attend uni to arrange my childcare.

depending on which campus, but usually 2 days a week, no placements to attend, all classroom plus scenario based learning

I emailed yesterday and we’d need to be on campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays

So you started health and social and have now been accepted onto Oral Health Science?, did you apply to other Unis as well?, is it quite common to get a place for oral health science whilst doing the health and social care?
