STEM UP flashcards

I’m on Cs in A level Biology and Chemistey (Aqa) exam board is it worth it to invest in these flashcards.
So then I can bang out exam questions and get an A* in 3 months for my next mocks ?
I also have uplearn which helps me understand content.

i can tell you how i revise now and to get a C i make sure ;
i’m solid on all AO1 content so easy recall in exams i can get. I read through cognito and make flashcards and watch miss estruch and do exam questions.
Learn from your mistakes and do active recall regularly and you should get what ur aiming for.

but try not to limit yourself to just a C work towards an A and see where you get to , utilise all the work your teacher gives you , make sure to do RAG red amber green topics and see where you’re struggling and make an effective schedule that way your not neglecting any topics. I’d also say Cornell notes and blurting for biology is extremely helpful as it helps you remember. Utilise lots of you tubers, Seneca , Cognito, Medly ,power points and exam questions and i think you should be fine. i’d say remember mark scheme specific points as-well from exam qs and the specification as your specification is quite literally your best friend . Welcome for any help (i defo need to use my own advice 😭)

Thing is I actually need a B… for uni my offer is AAB and my teacher is so sure I won’t get anything above a C… which I completely agree with and I think C even with so much work is the most I’m getting… I am predicted and I can get 2 As in my other 2 subjects and I emailed my firm uni to ask their flexibility and they said they usually consider 1 grade below so 😭 but yeah

I find their Chemistry ones quite helpful , but for biology I sometimes find that they don't go into enough detail , and I have to add bits from my textbook . Overall I would say get them but go through notes from sch ect to make sure they cover everything you want . It saves hours that could have been used to do active revision , that you would have to spend making your own , believe me I tried to make my own as we went along , but even a day behind and it gets a bit much without any real practice as making them is only passive revision . I also found the PMT ones extremely helpful, especially if I don't feel like going through maybe 80 cards , I can just do short key point cards .
