I'm doing History and while the content is very interesting. The Essays are very different to GCSE and difficult and I'm on the B/C Borderline. I have timed essay tomorrow. What grade are you getting in History?

I do English Literature, I agree that it’s definitely different to expected- especially the essay grade boundaries being far less lenient than at GCSE.

Honestly same, I’m currently on B territory and I’ve started figuring out how to structure my writing in each subject, yet the content is soo consuming sometimes, I get mixed up with main points and extra points, especially in history. But, I think the highlight of my subjects is how much debating I get to do in English lit, history and politics! Hbu?

100% I was getting marked down by miscommunicated sentences and vague points alone, along with generalised points, especially English Lit! So I figured out that you need a more nuanced and creative approach to every exam a you do for English. For politics and history, it seems much more straightforward 🤷🏽*♀️

Yeah, I like the debates and other style of learning. I also have debates in my other subjects of Geography and Sociology (especially Sociology). What exam board are you?

I do Germany and West Germany 1918-1989 and the rise and fall in Fascism in Italy 1911-1946. We'll do Lancastrians, Yorkists and Henry VII,1399-1509 in Year 13 along with Witchcraft Coursework.
