Are you looking for an en suite or shared bathroom?

How are you defining "best"? Cheapest? Most central? Nearest to Canon Park? Lowest student to kitchen ratio? Something else? (Clue: none of the accomodation meets all these criteria)

Hi, I think all of the accoms are such a mix, and there are pros/cons to all of them. I'm in first year now and I can't quite remember but when you choose your accoms, you have to select 6, 3 en-suite, 3 shared bathroom, and you get given an accom randomly out of the 6. This seems stressful but it will work out, but it does mean you won't necessarily get the accom you really want. I ended up in Cryfield Standard - I really like it, my room is perfect and I don't mind the single bed or having to share a bathroom. Cryfield Village is good because even Standard accom gets to use the cinema room/dance studio/village hall areas which are really modern and nice, and generally it's a nice area close to central campus but also closed off surrounded by the nice accom being Cryfield Townhouses. My flat is really quiet, which isn't the worst but means I have to go to my friends flats to be social. I'd recommend when selecting your accoms, try pick the 6 that are best for your price range, and look at where you lectures will be/where you'll spend your time, e.g. if you like sports maybe choose accom near the sports hub. Good luck
