Applicant Day TLDR and To-Do List!

What is an Applicant Day? A question that is asked all to often, despite them being advertised by universities left right and centre!

What to look out for and do on an Applicant Day? Well I'm here to share my TLDR and To-Do List of what to do on an Applicant Day!

An Applicant Day is a chance to check out what the university looks like, feels like and has to offer. It differs from an Open Day slightly in how it is a bit more specific and geared to inform you about your chosen subjects, so make sure you attend your subject talks, above all else! After all, what you study is the most important part of going to university. You have the chance to get explore campus, catering facilities and have a look at accommodation. There are also talks about everything from student life, accommodation, and student finance to sports teams and societies through the Students Union! All in all, It's a chance to get a taste of the university where it matters most to you, ask questions, so you can make an informed choice on your path to uni.

Make sure to look out for and keep in mind:

- What students say about the university

- What the university can do for you

- What the university is showing you and providing you on the Applicant Day, what does this mean?

Must do's on an Applicant Day:

1 - Go to your introductory talk!

2 - Go to your subject talk(s) (most important!!)

3 - Get a feel for the campus, through a campus tour, talk to student ambassadors!

4 - Grab some lunch with catering!

5 - Take the trip to the city!

We look forward to getting to know you at our Applicant Days! If you have any questions or even your own Applicant Day pointers, do's and don'ts, do share and let us know!

Enjoy your time!
