Help Choosing insurance choice

I Have offers from University of Birmingham and Aston, both for mechanical engineering. Then Cardiff for mechanical and electrical engineering. Birmingham want AAB, Aston want CCC (Contextual) and Cardiff Want BBB (Contextual). I have heard UOB is a good choice for engineering so that one is my aspiration choice. Can anyone offer some information that could help me decide an between Aston and Cardiff as an insurance choice?

Many Thanks

How likely are you obtain the BBB which Cardiff want?

You've applied to two universities in Birmingham. Is that because you have some affinity with the city? Would that mean that Aston has some particular appeal for you?

Did you attend open days (or offer-holder days) for either Aston or Cardiff? If so, what did you think?

There are quote a lot of stats available via The Uni Guide: Mechanical Engineering at Cardiff University vs. Mechanical Engineering at Aston University. That shows that they're very similar in terms of students satisfaction, drop-out rate, percentage achieving a 2:1 or a 1st, etc. One difference which you might consider important in the "Top job areas of graduates" (from the Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education Survey). This is for "the general subject area/s at this university" rather than Mechanical Engineering specifically.

It shows that the top three area of graduate employment for Cardiff graduates were Engineering professionals (54%), Science, engineering and production technicians (7%), Information technology and telecommunications professionals (7%). The top three area of graduate employment for Aston graduates were Engineering professionals (43%), Sales assistants and retail cashiers (10%), and Sales, marketing and related associate professionals (7%). That might suggest that Cardiff has a better careers service and is better able to help their graduates into relevant employment.
