Hi
Applying for boots is brilliant Idea if you are interested in working in a chemist setting. They do take people on from the age of 15 onwards. They will train you in every aspect of successful with your application.
You can apply to lots of retailers shops Via own website ( majority will have a age restriction of 18 but they will still employ you if under that age but you'll be able to work in certain areas due to the age 18 restriction).

Big question is - how many people age 15-16 have any experience working in big industries and retailers ( not that many). So experience doesn't matter much but great if you have any kind of experience.

You can do volunteering work in charity shops, care homes, hospitals ward's etc if you research local area and apply to them to see if they have any spaces for volunteers.

Hiya
I would suggest you apply to boots if you are seriously wanting to work in a chemist setting as it is a good job and you'll enjoy working there.

I have worked in boots since I was 15 ( yes they employ young people from this age) and I didn't have any experience in anything when I got the job, still there as I'm now working as pharmacy dispenser advisor ( making up prescriptions etc) .

What have you got to lose with applying as you never know you might just get it.

You are best to apply via there own website, you make a online profile first and then start searching for suitable jobs in your local area, if you are successful with this part you'll be asked to do a online assessment ( question are based on real life situations okay - most are multi choice answers, just read the question and then answers each one until completed, and then depending on how many points you score in the assignment you'll get a interview offer which you can book online through your online account.

If you want to apply for other jobs at same time there's nothing wrong with that.
Boots employee ( part-time).
