How important is Bases Accreditation? Anyone undergraduate in London doing Sport and Exercise Science?

The importance of BASES accreditation really depends on your career goals. Many sports science roles now require it, particularly if you’re looking to work with sports teams or in high-performance institutes. It’s a valuable accreditation that can significantly enhance your opportunities in elite sport, opening more doors than you’d have without it. If you have the opportunity to have an accreditation that recognises your expertise, it is worth getting it, it might set you apart from others in job interviews.
As far as I know, you are BASES accredited after completion of your sport science degree in some Uni's, it might be the same for yours? Probably worth enquiring about that!

Hi thank you for your reply x I would like to be involved in athlete performance coaching, or S&c masters etc particularly with motorsport. Which Uni would be best suited to this ? Does any have links with specific motorsports or affiliations for placements etc ?

At. Loughborough the SS and SCAPE course are the same for the first year - can you transfer to the SS course from SCAPE at all ?
