I like my friend but she has a boyfriend so I planned on just telling her I need space and leaving so I can move on but due to it being close to my birthday she gave me a gift and now I feel rude just dipping what would you guys do

I maybe wouldn't abandon the friendship over a crush and yes it would be rude. There isn't any history here right, and you aren't madly in love so what is there to get over? Cutting the friendship out of jealousy is a bit crap, you're basically saying their friendship never mattered to you.

would rather not ruin their relationship and I can't move on if I speak with them and honestly she's started coming off cold to me now anyways starting to think she used me to just join my friend group LMAO

sorry forgot to say I do have a crush on her which is what I mean by not ruin her relationship with her boyfriend LMAO its cool now just spoke to a friend and it's clear she's fully just airing me now anyways 😭😭
