Hello, could somebody please confirm if TMUA is absolutely required to apply to E&M at Warwick? I intend to apply for 2026 and am confused by the talk of reduced offers with TMUA, thus suggesting that a higher offer could be made to applicants with low TMUA scores (below 3.5) or without TMUA?
I am preparing the TSA for Oxford and cannot prepare TMUA as well. Any light you can shed much appreciated.

Ahh that’s so frustrating!! I found this page on their website, it has more detail about it under the entry requirements section. I remember a while ago seeing something about it under a FAQs for the econ department but I can’t seem to find that now. Maybe it’s worth contacting them and see what they say?

You can still sit the TMUA in January so you should have enough time to prepare for both. Also I've seen loads of people get Warwick offers with super low TMUAs, they give out loads of offers since they know its usually a backup choice for people applying to Oxbridge/LSE/Imperial/UCL. I'm guessing the score is not that important for them.

Thank you so much for this. I also had stumbled on a similar FAQ page and was not sure if it was current. I have sent an email asking for guidance on 2026 TMUA situation. Thanks again for taking the time to reply and look up the link.

Thanks, I may look into the January option too.
