also firmed ysj for 2025 🙂 the three u mentioned are my favourites, i think the grange is going to be number 1 choice, just because its lots cheaper than the others! the only issue is that its shared bathrooms ☹️, but everything else seems good. its in a nice area too!!

Hi there,

I'm a third-year YSJ student and haven't lived in any of the three you mentioned, however I've been to all three and I'd say city residence is my favorite as its a bit quieter. I'd recommend coming to a decision day if you're able to, the next ones are on Saturday, the 15th of March, and the Wednesday, 16th April! On the decision days the accommodation sites are open for you to have a look around, which might make the decision a bit easier! If not there are virtual tours on the YSJ YouTube that might help too!🤗

If its any consolation, the toilet and the shower are separate - so there's no waiting to use the loo while someone showers! If you live with your parents/carers currently, then you already likely share a bathroom, its not too much different!

Currently doing the same thing, i'm doing a foundation year at another university right now and if it's any consolidation shared bathroom experiences aren't too bad! As long as you're both relatively clean then it's all okay 🙂 . Applying for the grange and limes court, both seem like great options after reading some opinions on them! Hopefully see you there!

Stop because omg i'm so scared to share a bathroom, i applied for accommodation with en-suites and didn't get any of them!! Looking at st mary's at the grange now x
